Graduate students interested in applying to be in the lab should look at the UNLV experimental psychology program requirements.
Research assistants in the Math Cognition lab are involved at a variety of levels. Lab assistants aid in running participants through experiments, managing data files, designing experiments, and statistical analyses.
Assisting in the lab will provide students with experience that is useful in preparation for graduate school. Students will learn the research process, gain experience with experimental software and techniques, and increase their knowledge of cognitive psychology.
If you are interested in becoming a research assistant, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Research assistants are encouraged to make a two semester commitment to the lab.
We require a one page letter of intent for new research assistants, outlining why they wish to work in the lab, as well as a CV or academic resume.
